A one-of-one ROHMANE micro skirt reconstructed from a vintage Rani pink sari, preserving its original hand embroidery and embellishment.
The low-rise silhouette is built around a heavily worked gold border featuring traditional zari, zardozi and sequin hand embroidery, finished with crystal and metallic detailing. Below the structured waistband, the original Rani pink sari textile is gathered into a soft fluted ruffle, showcasing individually embroidered paisley motifs throughout.
Created entirely from a vintage textile, the placement and character of the embroidery make this piece impossible to reproduce exactly.
